OPmobility seeks a Mechanical Engineer in Nuevo León to drive development from concept to production, delivering robust and reliable products on time and within cost targets.

You will provide technical support during mechanical construction, develop innovative concepts, apply CAD standards, and contribute to DFMEA, CAE/DV plans, and PPAP activities, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.

Formación

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the position.
• Experience with DFMEA development and product verification.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical support within mechanical construction during product development.
• Develop concepts for innovative products considering feasibility, cost, lifespan, customer and legal requirements.
• Apply design and process practices, standard parts, CAD methodology and customer specifications.
• Contribute to creating/updating DFMEA.
• Cooperate on DFMEA, CAE plan, DV plan, tests and certification per CDP/VPDS/VBOS and customer specs.
• Actively supports DV/PV and PPAP delivery on time.
• Participate in audits and reviews as required.
• Identify innovation opportunities and cost optimizations; participate in DCRM sessions.
• Provide technical support to new business development (e.g., feasibility, BOM, presentations).
• Prepare and share project Lessons Learned.
• Carry out development assignments (CDP/PDS).

Mechanical Engineer is responsible for fulfillment of project objectives: delivery of robust, proven and reliable product in required time, quality and costs.

Responsabilities:

• Provides technical support within the mechanical construction during product development leading to successful introduction into production
• Develops concepts for innovative products with regard to feasibility, cost, lifespan, customer and legal requirement
• Applies the best design and process practices (DGL, Rules), standard parts, Lessons Learned, CAD standards and CAD methodology and specific customer requirements
• Provides suggestions for creating and updating DFMEA
• Cooperates at creation of DFMEA, CAE plan, DV plan, component test and certification in compliance with the CDP/VPDS/VBOS, and customer specifications as well as legal requirements.
• Actively works within the team to support successful DV / PV and delivery of PPAP on time.
• Participate on TDR organized by other teams to provide feedbac
• Participates in customer & quality audits for given products / projects if required.
• Scouts for innovation opportunities, cost optimizations and actively participates in DCRM sessions and participates in their implementation in the project
• Provides technical support to new business development (i.e. VQF, BOM, presentation, feasibility)
• Prepares and shares given project Lessons Learned
• Performs assignments related to particular development (CDP/PDS) projects.
