Job summary

Magna International Limited, part of the Cosma International group, is seeking an engineer to advance PLC programming, industrial software development, and database administration in a dynamic manufacturing setting in Mexico. You will work on web platforms, ERP tools, and Industry 4.0 initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires 1 year of PLC experience (Allen Bradley and Siemens), a relevant Engineering degree, and intermediate English.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1 year of PLC programming with Allen Bradley and Siemens.
• Bachelor's or Engineering/technical degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Industrial, Mechanical, Computer Systems or related.
• Intermediate English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop tools across languages: Java, Visual Basic, .Net C#, Python.
• Develop web platforms and applications.
• Database administration.
• Customer support and problem resolution.
• Follow SOX, TISAX and IATF standards.
• Manage projects and handle high workload.
• Be available for after-hours emergencies.
• Program Siemens PLCs and Allen Bradley PLCs.
• Develop Industry 4.0 projects.
• Help plan department objectives and align with strategy.
