Valeo in San Luis Potosí, MX, seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance across electromechanical systems. The role involves working with PLCs, robots, and manipulators to keep production lines running smoothly.

The position requires participation in 5S and QRQC activities, with opportunities to lead improvement projects and train colleagues in best practices.

Formación

• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance on electromechanical systems.
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers, robots, and manipulators.
• Knowledge of 5S and QRQC processes within a maintenance environment.
• Ability to participate in improvement workshops and training.

Responsabilidades

• Level 1: Perform simple preventive maintenance according to SOPs and schedules.
• Level 2: Prepare and perform preventive maintenance on all equipment (electrotechnical, automated, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic). Work on PLCs, robots, and manipulators.
• Level 3: Study, prepare, and perform preventive maintenance on factory equipment including PLCs, robots, and manipulators.
• Level 1: Intervene on machinery to resolve simple breakdowns under supervision; analyze causes and propose improvements.
• Level 2: Resolve breakdowns autonomously; analyze and implement modifications to improve reliability, capacity and maintainability.
• Level 3: Propose and implement actions to improve reliability using new technologies.
• Lead improvement projects, consult with subcontractors, and guarantee follow-up and results.
