Emerson is seeking a procurement professional in Chihuahua, Mexico to lead sourcing and purchasing activities for equipment, machinery, and indirect materials. You will drive cost reduction, manage supplier relationships, and ensure timely delivery to support a broad internal network.

The role requires at least 4 years of buyer experience, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and fluent English (B2). International travel may be necessary, including USA visa processes.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Administration, International Business or Engineering.
• Fluency in English (B2).
• Ability to travel internationally (USA visa).
• 4+ years of work experience as an equipment, machinery, and inputs buyer.

Aufgaben

• Pursuing continuous improvements in cost, lead time, quality, commercial terms and logistics costs.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies focused on cost reduction, supply base optimization, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement.
• Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring all terms and specifications are documented to support procurement activities.
• Proactively monitor purchase orders to ensure on-time deliveries for IDM warehouse and other departments.
• Maintain and control procurement systems to ensure compliance with KPIs and SLs.
• Proficient in MS Office
