Ford Motor Company seeks a Steering Design & Release Engineer to design, develop, validate, and release steering components for our programs. You will ensure compliance with ES, SDS, WCR and manufacturing requirements, while coordinating with suppliers and assembly plants worldwide.

The role requires strong English, automotive steering knowledge, and proficiency with design tools and quality systems. You will participate in cost, weight, and quality targets and support warranty analysis

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• High level English proficiency essential.
• Experience with hydraulic steering systems advantageous.
• Knowledge of materials properties and robustness disciplines.
• Familiarity with quality tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA).

Responsabilidades

• Understand Ford steering development process and D&R.
• Release parts in FEDEBOM and WERS across product life cycle.
• Audit BOM accuracy and support supplier changes.
• Apply Six Sigma and 8D methodologies to issues.
• Collaborate with global teams including Vehicle Dynamics and CAD.
