Job summary

IBM is seeking an FP&A Analyst to join a large team engaged in financial planning and analysis for a leading semiconductor client. The role focuses on accounting systems, SAP implementation, and rigorous financial forecasting and reporting tasks.

The position is based in Guadalajara with a hybrid work mode, offering interaction across finance sub-functions and global teams. A four-year or graduate degree and 1.5–3 years of FP&A experience are expected, plus strong analytical and communication

Qualifications

1.5–3 years FP&A and accounting exposure including forecasting and budgeting.
Basic understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal control requirements.
Proficiency with spreadsheets and databases; Excel and office tools are plus.
Analytical thinking and problem-solving with ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently and in a team; strong communication with stakeholders.
Good English level; hybrid work model in Guadalajara.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain accounting and financial systems with accurate data processing.
Set up SAP templates and perform system maintenance including tie-outs.
Develop financial reporting, support forecasting, budgeting, and closing cycles.
Contribute to budgets, forecasts, capex planning, and long-term strategies.
Prepare journal entries in line with accounting policies.
