A leading global manufacturing firm located in Mexico seeks a qualified HSE Manager. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Industrial, Environmental, or Safety Engineering and possess at least 8 years of HSE leadership experience in manufacturing. They will ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations, coordinate training, and collect data for risk management. Strong bilingual communication skills and knowledge of ISO standards are essential. This role offers an opportunity to drive safety culture and ensure a safe working environment.

Formación

  • Minimum of 8 years in HSE leadership roles within manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Certifications in HSE (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) are highly desirable.

Responsibilities
  • Provide essential support for various aspects of the site's HSE programs as directed by the HSE responsible, ensuring alignment with safety standards and protocols

  • Coordinate and organize HSE-related events, including training sessions, to promote awareness and compliance across the site

  • Collect and evaluate data in accordance with established site protocols, facilitating informed decision-making and risk management

  • Demonstrate increasing expertise and competency in understanding and applying internal and external HSE regulations and requirements

  • Offer general assistance to the HSE responsible, contributing to the overall effectiveness and success of the HSE program

Qualifications
  • Education: Degree in Industrial, Environmental, Safety Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years in HSE leadership roles within manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of occupational health and safety regulations, environmental compliance, and risk management systems.
  • Compliance: Familiarity with international standards such as ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Technical Skills: Practical experience with incident investigation, hazard analysis, and implementation of safety programs.
  • Tools: MS Office and HSE management software.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication abilities; capable of influencing safety culture across all levels.
  • Problem-Solving: Results-driven, proactive in identifying risks, and skilled in implementing corrective actions under pressure.
  • Additional: Certifications in HSE (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) are highly desirable.
  • Language: Bilingual proficiency in English is a MUST.
