Job summary

ABB is seeking an HR Generalist to manage day‑to‑day HR transactions and onboarding for the Ramos Arizpe site in Mexico. You will ensure high‑quality customer experience, support global HR operations standards, and comply with local laws.

The role is on site with responsibilities spanning end‑to‑end HR services, cross‑country collaboration, and process improvements. English proficiency and familiarity with HR systems are desirable.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience as an HR Generalist focusing on recruitment, employee services, and labor relations.
• Experience managing onboarding processes.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Intermediate level of English (written and spoken).
• Familiarity with Revolution and Workday systems is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree completed.

Responsibilities

• Execute and deliver HR services in line with agreed business processes, KPIs, and quality targets, ensuring timely, accurate, and customer‑focused service with end‑to‑end ownership.
• Act as a subject matter expert for complex business cases and projects, providing operational expertise and fostering collaboration across different countries and functions.
• Identify gaps in existing business processes, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and proactively recommend improvements or simplifications based on day‑to‑day experience.
• Perform autonomous control tasks, including four‑eye checks/SOX checks, data protection duties, and compliance with country‑specific legal and regulatory requirements.
