The Work

In this role you will be responsible for the constant improvement of the EQUALS TRUE people experience. Reporting to the Chief Innovation Officer and Acting Director of People Operations, you will assist in ensuring the day-to-day people engine runs at best-in-class levels. Your impact will focus on execution, coordination, and reporting:

  • Partner closely with leadership to provide hands-on HR support to constantly ensure our people are thriving.
  • HRIS & Tool Management: Maintain the daily operations of our HRIS and people tools, ensuring data integrity and updating records.
  • Learning & Development (L&D): Support in planning and tracking development progress, and assist in the rollout of learning materials across the organization.
  • Procedures & Documentation: Create, update, and maintain internal HR documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure all people processes are clearly mapped and easily accessible.
  • Culture & Change Execution: Assist in implementing culture-building efforts and help navigate the administrative side of change as the company evolves.
  • Data & Feedback Support: Organize employee feedback and collect people data to ensure accurate information.
  • Security & Compliance: Support on the administrative side of background checks and identity verification for new hires across the company.
  • Agile Team Standards: Maintain the standards of the assigned team and collaboration to ensure all people-ops tasks are completed efficiently.
Needed Expertise
  • 4+ Years of experience in HR roles as Generalist, Specialist or Business Partner
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business from a top university.
  • HR Tool Proficiency: Experience supporting HR databases and tools (e.g., PeopleHum, RecruiterFlow, Deel) to maintain accurate records.
  • Documentation Skills: Strong ability to write clear, concise, and professional procedures and manuals.
  • Collaboration-Focused: A "data-driven" mindset with a strong ability to support people processes (L&D tracking, data entry) with high attention to detail.
  • Language: Spanish and professional English to effectively communicate with leaders and stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement: A track record for finding better ways to organize workflows, such as automating simple documentation updates or creating interactive FAQs for employees.
Not Required But Nice To Have Expertise
  • AI: Deploying and utilizing AI tools/agents in improve efficiency.
  • Data Visualization & Reporting: Experience building simple, clear dashboards or monthly reports (using Google Suite, or HRIS tools).
  • L&D Content Creation: Previous exposure to designing training decks, workshops, or managing Learning Management Systems (LMS) to boost team development.
  • Internal Communications: Experience using tools (like Notion, Loom, or Canva) to make HR procedures and company announcements more visual, engaging, and easy to follow.
