Una agencia de interpretación busca intérpretes telefónicos para inglés y español. Se requiere experiencia médica y fluidez nativa en ambos idiomas. Ofrecemos trabajo desde casa con horarios fijos y pago bi-mensual en dólares. Los candidatos deben evitar trabajar con otras agencias. Se acepta tiempo completo y medio tiempo, con un mínimo de 40 horas por semana.

Formación

Greetings, we are currently hiring! We are an interpreting agency looking to hire over-the-phone interpreters to work from the comfort of home.

We are looking for English‑Spanish interpreters, preferably with a vast knowledge of medical terminology and at least one year of interpreting experience. Since we do not pay by the minute, we offer a permanent shift that interpreters must adhere to once a schedule is agreed upon.

As an American company, you will be employed through Linguistica as an independent contractor. No taxes will be deducted from your pay, and payment is received bi‑monthly on the 5th and 20th via direct deposit in U.S. dollars. While working at Linguistica International you must agree not to work for any other interpreting company.

Qualifications

• MEDICAL INTERPRETING EXPERIENCE
• Native, or near‑native, fluency in Spanish and English.
• Ability to explain cultural concepts to avoid miscommunication, and to act as a cultural broker.
• Job types: Full‑time, Part‑time (part‑time hours: 40 per week).
• Salary: $***** per hour.
• Experience: interpreting: 1 year (preferred).
