Brose North America Inc. is seeking a production leader in Querétaro, Mexico, to align manufacturing plans with market needs, ensure capacity and labor readiness, and optimize waste, downtime and inventory.

You will monitor KPIs across safety, quality and production, collaborate on cost-reduction efforts, and support continuous improvement and team development. Ideal candidates have at least 5 years in automotive production, familiarity with productivity systems, VSM and PFM, and strong

• Minimum 5 years in a similar automotive role.
• Proficiency with productivity systems.
• Experience with VSM and PFM methodologies.

Responsabilidades

• Approve manufacturing plans and budgets aligned with market needs to ensure capacity, equipment and labor availability.
• Verify production compliance to meet schedules and optimize waste, downtime and inventory.
• Monitor pre-production and final assembly KPIs for safety, quality and production.
• Oversee costs and drive cost-reduction initiatives with managers, suppliers and customers.
• Resolve production problems with internal departments to minimize delivery disruptions.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental procedures and promote a safe workplace.
• Support continuous improvement to optimize equipment and processes.
• Develop and grow the production team in size and quality to meet future needs.

Your Tasks

• Approve manufacturing plans and budgets in line with estimated market needs and ensure that production capacity, equipment, and labor are available and utilized to achieve optimal performance and meet foreseeable additional demands.
• Verify production compliance to meet scheduled delivery dates and optimize waste, downtime, and inventory levels.
• Monitor and control key pre‑production and final assembly performance indicators in the areas of safety, quality, and production in accordance with company requirements.
• Oversee production and unit costs; facilitate cost‑reduction measures regarding production, manufacturing, and maintenance processes in collaboration with other managers, suppliers, and customers.
• Find solutions to production problems, liaising with other internal departments as needed. Ensure minimal disruption to customer deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures and be proactive in fostering a safe work environment.
• Support and participate in continuous improvement activities to optimize equipment and processes.
• Support the recruitment, training, and development of your team, and drive its growth in both size and quality to meet current and future needs. Design methods to maintain or increase production levels while improving production costs, yields, quality, and safety.
• Responsible for the effective management of environmental aspects in the production area in accordance with Brose standards to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and customer requirements.
• Identify potential and then support the professional development of staff.
• Collaborate on the Environmental Management System in accordance with the environmental roles and responsibilities matrix.

Your Profile

• Minimum 5 years on a similar position in the automotive industry mandatory
• Knowledge of productivity systems
• Experience with VSM and PFM
• Effective communication skills
• English fluent
• Leadership skills
