YOUR MISSION

Lead and own the entire financial function.

Your mission is to establish a robust, autonomous financial operating system that ensures total accuracy, predictable cash flow, and reliable forecasting.

You will manage the internal accounting team and transform the finance department into a proactive engine of profitability and strategic insight.

WHAT YOU'RE GETTING INTO

• P&L Accuracy & Reporting: Own the preparation and review of the monthly P&L and Balance Sheet, ensuring 100% accuracy and adherence to accrual accounting principles.
• Develop and own the weekly cash report, providing precise visibility into Balance Sheet and Liquid Cash values.
• Monitor and manage sales tax remittance.
• Review and monitor all outgoing expenses and incoming invoices to enforce financial controls.
• Manage and mentor the internal team and coordinate with external CPA firms.
• Build reliable financial controls around treasury, payables, and processor risk.
• Implement margin reporting segmented by funnel, product, and sales channel.
• Serve as the single source of financial truth for the entire organization.
• Strategic Forecasting & LTV: Build a fully functional and reliable forecasting model for revenue, margins, refunds, chargebacks, and cash flow, tied directly to acquisition KPIs and LTV.
• Partner with leadership to forecast profitability ***** days out with high confidence.
• Recommend strategic financial initiatives across pricing, processor allocation, spending priorities, and cash management strategies to improve profitability and reduce leakage.

WHO YOU ARE

• You have run the finance function for a high-growth eCommerce company, specializing in complex revenue models involving physical goods inventory, recurring subscriptions, and payment processors.
• You are deeply proficient in accrual accounting, capable of delivering precise P&L and Balance Sheet accuracy without external oversight.
• You view LTV modeling and cash flow forecasting as strategic tools, using data to inform expansion, pricing, and capital allocation decisions.
• You are driven to establish robust financial controls and processes, creating scalable systems that minimize risk and maximize operational efficiency.
• You are highly proficient in key systems, including QuickBooks & Shopify.
• You are known for your ability to take complete ownership and communicate complex financial concepts clearly, concisely, and with strategic insight.
