Job summary

TE Connectivity Ltd. is seeking an NPD Project Manager (Hardware Products) in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico. The role leads end-to-end hardware product development with cross-functional teams, focusing on on-time launches, budget discipline, and quality targets.

Requires 8+ years in engineering/product management, strong English communication, and experience with Gates processes, ROI analysis, and MS Project. Hybrid work arrangement offered with travel 10–25%.

Qualifications

• In depth understanding of Toll Gate / Stage Gate process in Product development.
• Experience in effective project management strategies and tactics.
• Extensive experience in Stakeholder management, requirement management.
• Exposure to manufacturing processes (Cable Assembly).
• Fluent in English with good verbal and written communications skills.
• Extensive experience in project planning and execution.
• Leading project teams to success and cross-boundary collaboration.
• Proficient in Microsoft Projects and MS Office tools.
• Proficient in project ROI analysis (NPV, IRR, Payback).
• Work with cross-functional teams for problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple medium to high complexity New Product Development projects with end-to-end ownership.
• Excellent cross functional leadership ability.
• Drive diverse and inclusion workplace by valuing differences.
• Stakeholder management and setting cadence for smooth execution.
• Control project costs and manage budgets to meet metrics.
• Support economic analysis, variance analysis and cost calculations.
• Develop Project Communication Plan and report progress.
• Create schedules, resource plans and budget forecasts.
• Perform integrated Change Management and resolve impediments.
• Drive process improvements and new project components.
• Coordinate internal resources to ensure on-time, on-cost, on-quality delivery.
• Manage project risk with monitoring and control plans.
