Allegion plc in Ensenada is seeking a Hardware Engineer I to support sustaining engineering for electro-mechanical locking products. You will work on circuit analysis, PCB design modifications, BOM updates, and ECN processes, collaborating with contract manufacturers and production facilities to deploy design changes.

Responsible for supporting sustaining engineering activities for Allegion electro-mechanical locking products throughout their lifecycle. This role performs electronic engineering tasks including component evaluation and qualification, circuit analysis, PCB design modifications, and engineering documentation updates. Key responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess, implement, and validate product improvements and engineering changes. The Hardware Engineer works closely with contract manufacturers and Allegion production facilities to coordinate the successful deployment of product design changes into production. The position partners with Quality and Manufacturing teams to investigate product and production issues, perform root cause analysis, develop corrective actions, and support implementation of containment and continuous improvement initiatives.
