The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of accounting experience, with at least 3-5 years in group consolidation, strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS, and proficiency with financial consolidation systems. This role includes collaboration with finance teams and external audit support.

About the job

The Group Consolidation Manager is responsible for overseeing the timely and accurate consolidation of financial results for the entire corporate group, which includes multiple domestic and international subsidiaries. This role is crucial for ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and providing quality financial reporting to senior management and external stakeholders.

Manage the full cycle, monthly, quarterly, and annual group financial consolidation process, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established deadlines (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Statement of Cash Flows, and Equity Statement)

  • Ensure accurate elimination and reconciliations of intercompany transactions.
  • Oversee the accounting for minority interests (non-controlling interests) and goodwill / impairment testing. Support the external reporting team by providing consolidated financial data, supporting documentation, and analysis required for filings and investor relations.
  • Collaborate closely with subsidiary finance teams to ensure consistent application of group accounting policies, accurate and timely submission of entity financial data, and resolution of consolidation issues.
Reporting & Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS / US GAAP / Local GAAP) and regulatory requirements.
  • Work along with the US Controller in the external audit process related to the consolidated financial statements.
  • Prepare and review schedules and analyses for management reporting, board reports, and regulatory filings. The Group Consolidation Manager will report to the Corporate Controller.
About you
Experience
  • Minimum 7–10 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial reporting roles.
  • At least 3–5 years specifically in group consolidation within a multinational corporation or public accounting firm.
  • Experience with multi-entity, multi-currency consolidations and complex ownership structures (minority interests, joint ventures, etc.).
  • Prior experience supporting external audits and preparing consolidated financial statements.
  • Experience in publicly listed companies or exposure to SEC reporting is a strong plus.
Technical Skills
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP , IFRS , and consolidation accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in financial consolidation systems (e.g., Hyperion Financial Management, OneStream, SAP BPC, Oracle FCCS).
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
