A leading open source software company is seeking a Graduate HR Generalist to support HR processes and drive the people strategy. This remote role requires excellent communication skills, an internship in HR, and a proactive attitude. You will manage employee inquiries, maintain HR systems, and support onboarding, benefits, and payroll. Formación

  • Internship experience in an HR/People team, preferably in technology.
  • Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus.

Responsabilidades

  • Provide HR support to answer employee questions.
  • Maintain HRIS for accurate processing.
  • Own global HR projects and initiatives.
  • Partner with employees to support HR processes.
  • Process new hires, including onboarding documentation.
  • Support employees in benefits enrollment and payroll.
  • Liaise with payroll for accurate salary payments.
  • Conduct audits of employment files to ensure compliance.
  • Continuously improve HR processes.

Role Overview

Graduate HR Generalist – AMER (remote)

Responsibilities
  • Provide HR support by answering employee questions and responding to requests regarding employment and contracts, escalating when necessary.
  • Maintain HRIS to ensure accurate and timely processing of team member changes and new joiners.
  • Own global projects such as engagement, training and culture initiatives.
  • Partner with managers and employees to support HR processes and drive the people strategy for your areas of responsibility.
  • Process new hires, including country‑specific onboarding documentation, file creation, system set‑up and coordination of introductory reviews.
  • Support employees in benefits enrollment and payroll processing, ensuring monthly data is accurate and on time.
  • Liaise with payroll to guarantee smooth salary payments.
  • Create purchase orders for internal departments.
  • Conduct regular audits of employment files and systems to ensure they are up‑to‑date, accurate and GDPR compliant.
  • Continuously improve processes and identify areas for improvement to drive HR function forward.
Qualifications
  • Exceptional achievement record from high school and graduate studies.
  • Internship experience working in an HR/People team, preferably in the technology industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize complex workloads, manage time effectively and work well under pressure.
  • Self‑motivated and results‑orientated with a clear focus on accuracy.
  • High level of honesty, integrity and ability to handle confidential data.
  • Flexible attitude and adaptable to change.
  • Willing to take initiative and provide suggestions and ideas to contribute to role/team success.
  • Ambitious to grow your career within HR.
  • Willingness to travel up to 4 times a year for internal events.
  • Fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese (plus).

Compensation and Work Location

Remote in the AMER region. Compensation includes base pay, performance‑driven bonus, equity and comprehensive benefits.
