Job Description
Collaborate with innovative 3Mers around the world

As a Government Segment Development Manager, you will play a key role in developing strategies and commercial management for the division's government channels. In this role, you will contribute to the accelerated growth of our company by exceeding the sales, profitability, and working capital objectives within your area of responsibility, while supporting the growth and development of strategic partners.

The impact you will make in this role
  • Build strong business and commercial relationships with customers and channels within your scope, developing a solid team capable of effectively implementing accelerated growth initiatives and programs.
  • Establish direction, priorities, and allocate resources with full accountability for the results of your functional area, managing sales objectives for assigned customers/areas/product lines.
  • Manage commercial and operational relationships jointly with Government Affairs for each government customer.
  • Identify and define market/product opportunities to meet and exceed sales and growth objectives.
  • Interact effectively and proactively with other areas, contributing to company operations and initiatives to increase the level of service for our customers and enhance organizational productivity.
Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

  • Education: Engineering or related fields concluded
  • Ten years of experience in sales or commercial roles within government
  • Advanced command of English, with strong verbal and written communication skills

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Highly desirable experience in supervising and leading sales teams, as well as mastery of supervision and coaching techniques
  • Proficiency in computer tools and sales techniques
  • Availability for business travel
  • Experience in B2B and B2C business, particularly in construction, infrastructure, and/or government markets, would be highly valued
  • A master's degree in business or related specialties is desirable
Work Location:

This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the corporate office at Santa Fe, CDMX.

Travel:

May include up to 60% of your time.
