Columbus McKinnon Corporation seeks a Senior Product Compliance Engineer to lead global compliance initiatives and manage product certification activities across its portfolio. You will partner with Development, Legal, Quality, Procurement, Supply Chain, Product Management, and Marketing to ensure adherence to RoHS, REACH, TSCA, and 65 requirements throughout the product lifecycle.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field from ABET-accredited program (US or international equivalence).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in product compliance, certification, or regulatory engineering within manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Experience managing product certification activities with third-party agencies and regulatory approvals for global markets.
• Strong knowledge of environmental and product compliance regulations (RoHS, REACH, TSCA, California Prop 65, etc.).
• Ability to lead cross-functional projects, collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Legal, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Product Management teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead product compliance and certification activities across the product portfolio.
• Serve as primary compliance advisor to development teams and identify regulatory risks early in design.
• Develop and maintain environmental/regulatory documentation and records.
• Monitor regulatory changes and implement requirements across products.
• Lead complex certification projects with labs and certification bodies.
• Communicate compliance requirements with customers, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
• Mentor junior engineers on compliance processes and best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement of compliance programs and lifecycle processes.
