Job summary

Corning is seeking a Logistics Specialist to coordinate domestic and international movement of capital equipment from planning through delivery. You will work with project teams, procurement, trade compliance, and carriers to ensure safe, on-time delivery at optimized cost.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in logistics, strong knowledge of international shipping, documentation, and ERP systems (SAP preferred). Fluency in English and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, logistics, accounting, operations, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, project execution, supply chain operations, or procurement.
• Knowledge of domestic and international transportation, shipping documentation, and provider coordination.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word; fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Project logistics execution & service delivery aligned with project schedules and priorities.
• Coordinate export packers, forwarders, carriers, and brokers for safe, on-time delivery.
• Maintain rate, project, shipment, and approval data in designated systems; track spend and savings.
• Prepare and coordinate transportation and international shipping documentation; ensure compliance.
• Monitor cost, quality, service, and compliance metrics; analyze data for status reports.
