Corning seeks a Lead Global Programs to drive the OCS Division strategy and execute engineering solutions across the value stream. The role focuses on highly strategic customers and requires delivering preventive quality and standard processes throughout the product life cycle.

It demands leadership of cross-functional teams, clear requirementDefinition, and strong problem-solving using KT, MEE, Lean, and PQA methodologies to reduce risk and ensure reliable delivery.

Formación

• B.S. or equivalent technical degree.
• 7-10 years in technology, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and/or quality.
• Experience driving improvements through others.
• Project management of large-scale initiatives.
• DMAIC Green Belt certification.
• Lean methodologies knowledge (Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, etc.).
• Experience with PQA methodologies and New Product Introductions including Change Management.

Responsabilidades

• Lead Product Engineering group for assigned product lines with strategic objectives.
• Clarify and document customer requirements, specs, and certifications.
• Define application use cases impacting manufacturing, design, and packaging.
• Partner to build product integrity into manufacturing via preventive quality architecture.
• Work with Global Supply Chain to ensure contract manufacturers meet requirements.
• Lead root cause analyses and drive corrective/preventive actions.
• Assemble cross-functional teams to contain issues and manage changes.
• Apply MEE and KT analyses to identify causes and reduce risk.
• Document risks and recommended actions for customers and leadership.
• Oversee roadmap initiatives and ensure timely progress across teams.
