HSBC is looking for a Cryptography Operations Engineer in Mexico City. The role involves implementing cryptographic solutions, managing hardware and software for encryption, and ensuring compliance with security standards. Ideal candidates will have experience in operational cryptography, strong knowledge of HSMs, and excellent communication skills in both Spanish and English. This position plays a vital part in managing the bank’s encryption technology and contributing to risk management processes.

Formación

• Experience with hardware security modules including general and payment purposes.
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in both Spanish and English.
• Awareness of risk management and compliance with regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Implement cryptographic solutions in line with HSBC standards.
• Manage cryptographic hardware and software configurations.
• Contribute to the delivery of cryptographic technology and controls.
• Support peers globally in delivering encryption technology.

Conocimientos

Operational Cryptography background

Hardware Security Module expertise

Good understanding of IT Infrastructure platforms

Excellent communication skill (Spanish and English)

Knowledge of Service management techniques

Good working knowledge of Linux platforms

Knowledge of Agile tools

Experience in project prioritization

Educación

Relevant college education or certifications (e.g., PCI QSA, CISA/CISM, CISSP, ITIL)
