Job summary

MSCI is seeking an experienced Risk Management Analyst to join our Client Service organization in Monterrey or Mexico City. The role focuses on answering client inquiries, analyzing market data, and maintaining strong client relationships across global accounts.

You will collaborate with account managers and product teams, support institutional clients, and stay current on market risk concepts, VaR, portfolio construction, and risk models, while delivering clear, professional client service.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in Financial Services, Asset Management, Investment Banking, Risk Management, Capital Markets, or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, statistics, math, or related field.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to changing business needs.
• Proven ability to collaborate across functions, geographies, and cultures.
• English proficiency; additional languages are assets.

Responsibilities

• Answer detailed client inquiries about MSCI products and methodology.
• Participate in developing client relationships through proactive follow up on issues raised by clients.
• Analyze market performance and data for our clients on a reactive and proactive basis.
• Maintain relationships by ensuring relevant product and model information is shared with clients.
• Provide client feedback to the Coverage, Product Management, Research, and Production groups.
• Act as point of contact for routine inquiries and data requests.
• Keep up with current events and trends in the marketplace.
