Brown-Forman Guadalajara seeks an accounting analyst to ensure GAAP-compliant financial records, manage on-line bank statements, cash reconciliation, intercompany settlements, and related party documentation.

The role partners with global finance, treasury and tax teams, supports monthly journal entries, and helps improve processes. Strong Excel and English skills required; SAP knowledge preferred.

Formación

• Associates Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field plus a minimum of 4 years experience in Finance / Accounting -or- BS or BA in Accounting or Finance plus a minimum of two years experience in Finance / Accounting field.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and financial reporting/analysis.
• Proficiency using the Microsoft (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Teams) Suite, including advanced spreadsheet tools and functions.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision and with heavy workloads.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to validate, analyze, and sort through large amounts of data and transform complex data into succinct, clear communications.
• Possess the ability, desire, and skills necessary to interact with upper management and to advance within the organization.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• This position will be responsible for accounting related to certain corporate accounting functions.
• Supervise accounting related to on-line bank statements and cash reconciliation processes.
• Balance inter-company transactions and document related party relationships.
• Prepare monthly journal entries as designated by the Manager Consolidation Accounting and Analytics.
• Serve as global subject matter expert on FEBAN, cash management in SAP S/4HANA.
• Act as primary global cash accounts Blackline approver.
• Monitor intercompany accounting and settlements.
• Ensure related party transactions are properly documented and accounted for.
• Assist with account reconciliation and manual journal entry review processes.
