Leggett Dynamics is seeking a Commodity Manager to lead global commodity strategies for automotive components, drive cost reductions and risk management, and align with the Global Category Manager. You will build cross-functional buy-in and manage supplier relationships to optimize total cost of ownership.

The role requires strong analytical skills, advanced Excel/PowerPoint proficiency, and 5+ years in commodity management with global exposure, preferably in manufacturing or automotive sectors.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in financial or technical discipline; Master preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years in category/commodity management with global responsibilities.
• Experience in a Manufacturing environment, Automotive experience preferred.
• Demonstrated cost-modeling experience to assess should-cost.
• Excellent English communication, both written and verbal.
• Strong business and financial acumen; highly analytical.

Aufgaben

• Lead the development of global commodity strategies for assigned components/materials.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders; secure cross-functional buy-in.
• Execute contracts reflecting sourcing initiatives with appropriate terms.
• Foster performance-based relationships with external suppliers; monitor supply risks.
• Consolidate global commodity activities; ensure consistent strategy implementation across regions.
• Support regional productivity actions based on global spend; assess feasibility of ideas.
• Ensure accurate monthly tracking and reporting of commodity productivity actions.
