Placements24 is seeking a Gerente de Operaciones de Vuelo Remoto (Drones) to lead the remote operations team in Mexico. The role focuses on planning, safety, and successful delivery of drone projects across various domains from surveying to infrastructure inspection.

The ideal candidate has a strong aviation operations background, expert knowledge of DGAC regulations, and proven experience managing geographically dispersed teams in a remote setup.

About the Role

Our client, a pioneering technology firm specializing in advanced aerial solutions, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Gerente de Operaciones de Vuelo Remoto (Drones) to lead their remote operations team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within Mexico, managing a critical division focused on the safe and efficient deployment of drone technology. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in aviation operations, drone technology, regulatory compliance, and remote team management. You will be responsible for overseeing flight planning, execution, safety protocols, and post-flight analysis for a diverse range of drone operations, from aerial surveying to infrastructure inspection. This role demands exceptional organizational skills and a proactive approach to managing complex, geographically dispersed projects.

Requirements

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in English for technical documentation and international collaboration. Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities in a remote setting. Must have a reliable internet connection and a dedicated home office setup suitable for remote work. Valid drone pilot license (e.g., RPAS certificate) is highly desirable.
