AutoZone in Monterrey seeks a Category Manager to lead category strategies and optimize assortment, pricing, and supplier relationships. You will own planogram execution, market insights, and cross-functional collaboration with marketing and supply chain.

Candidates should have a business degree with 5–7 years in merchandising, sales, or category management, and strong negotiation and analytical skills. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred for regional partnerships.

Formación

• Certifications/skills: Microsoft Office, negotiation, bilingual (English 80% / Spanish).

Responsabilidades

• Identify market needs and develop strategies to fill them, build strategic partnerships.
• Build attractive assortment and planograms to deliver coverage and profit goals.
• Category management: monitor gross margin, growth, contract review, vendor negotiations.
• Planogram: build/maintain planograms and conduct revisions.

Orginizes and manages a category (or more than one) asumming the iniciative and risk of the business to deliver sales, gross margin, profit and coverage plan

• Business Development - Identify market needs and develop strategies to fill them, build strategic partnerships, develop market opportunities
• Pre-Line Reviews/Line Reviews - Build attractive assortment to grow business by creating business plan to deliver coverage, sales, gross margin and profit plan.
• Category Management - Category Contribution responsability, gross margin control, category growth, contract review, vendor management incluiding negotiations and development.
• Planogram - Building the Planogram, Min Review, ZAP Revision, Planogram Maintenance, Secondary Placement Follow up
• Category insight - Store checks, market visit, competition research, Commercial customers visit.
• Store Support & Team development - Customer Satisfaction, Pricing Deals, Develop ACM capabilities and skills
• Marketing - Create marketing plans, brand development and promotions
• Supply Chain - Fill Rate, Special Orders, Recalls, Return to Vendor, Return to Stock, Order Follow up
• Level of Formal Education: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.
