Job summary

Charger Logistics Inc. is seeking a qualified Accounting professional for our Querétaro office. The role covers general accounting, fixed assets management, and regulatory compliance within Mexico, with a strong focus on Excel-based data analysis and accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
• 4+ years of experience in General Accounting.
• At least 2 years of specialized experience with Mexican Fixed Assets accounting and regulations.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).
• Proven experience in accounting and financial reconciliation processes.
• Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining high accuracy and meeting deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English (intermediate to advanced).
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and consolidate financial statements by gathering, verifying, and analyzing data from the general ledger and departments.
• Manage day-to-day accounting processes including invoice entry, bank reconciliation, and month-end closing activities.
• Record and update all fixed asset transactions, including acquisitions, transfers, retirements, and adjustments, with proper depreciation schedules.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations for Mexican Fixed Assets depreciation and asset write-offs.
• Perform bookkeeping tasks such as monthly accounting, tax reporting, payroll processing, and reconciliations.
• Develop and analyze financial reports using advanced spreadsheet functions for data accuracy.
• Maintain and update general ledger entries and perform account reconciliations.
• Assist with preparation of financial statements and tax returns for compliance with Mexican tax laws.
• Evaluate internal processes and suggest improvements for accuracy and efficiency.
• Support monthly/quarterly financial close processes and safeguard confidential financial data.

• Maintain and update general ledger entries, manage records, and perform account reconciliations.
• Assist with the preparation and completion of financial statements and tax returns for compilation engagements in compliance with Mexican tax laws.
• Evaluate internal accounting processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend procedural improvements for enhanced accuracy and workflow.
• Support the monthly or quarterly financial close processes, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
• Safeguard the organization’s financial information by ensuring confidentiality at all times.
