A global technology leader in Hermosillo is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Analyst to enhance supplier relationships and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) in procurement management. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and the ability to manage both supplier and internal stakeholder relationships. This role requires proficiency in English and tools such as MS-Office and SAP, and it plays a crucial part in optimizing procurement strategies and supplier evaluations.

TE Connectivity's Strategic Sourcing Teams develop and implement multi-year strategies for assigned commodities, suppliers and parts/services to achieve established goals in supplier quality, delivery, price and service. They align strategy and execution with cross-functional partners such as engineering, manufacturing, product management and functional owners. They execute the competitive bid, negotiation, contracting processes and/or technical continuous improvement for assigned commodities or services; collaborate across Business Units and cross-regions for optimal TE leverage. Our teams demonstrate a high level of expertise in procurement competencies (business/supply chain acumen, negotiation, sourcing strategy development and execution, global savvy, and project and product lifecycle management) and ensure results are delivered compliant with TE policies and procedures.
As a Strategic Sourcing Analyst: We are looking for an analyst / buyer to join the Americas Procurement Team to support our growing business.
KPI Focus: STR, DLMP, lead time reduction and supplier consolidation. Responsible to achieve KPI’s including material productivity, delivery, quality metrics, and supplier risk assessments; ensure positive PPV impact for assigned category with weekly management of trends and pricing issues.
Responsible for full life‑cycle procurement management of assigned categories to include supplier market analysis; raw material market tracking; understanding of part cost breakdown to identify gaps in RM, OEE, OLE, and overheads; current supplier development; contract management, and negotiations.
Perform market analysis to maintain a good knowledge of potential trends evolutions within the assigned portfolio (new players, new technologies, etc.).
Perform supplier evaluations, including inspection plan development, monitoring supplier quality, delivery, and conformance to requirements.
Responsible for contract management and Private Brand Label agreements and Supply Agreements for assigned categories.
Support the development of the 3‑5 year regional commodity plan / categories – strategy, in accordance with the Global, Regional and Local needs and in alignment with the corporate commodity strategy.
Work with the Regional Strategic Sourcing Manager, Global Commodity Managers, and BU's to issue RFQ's, negotiate, award, and update contracts within assigned commodities for the AMAS region.
