We’re looking for a Senior with expertise in hands‑on development to join our EY‑Advisory‑DE Team. Digital Engineering Overview

EY GDS Digital Engineering is a unique industry‑focused business unit that provides a broad range of integrated services that leverage deep industry experience with strong functional capability and product knowledge. The Digital Engineering (DE) practice works with clients to analyse, formulate, design, mobilise and drive digital transformation initiatives. We advise clients on their most pressing digital challenges and opportunities surrounding business strategy, customer growth, profit optimisation, innovation, technology strategy and digital transformation. We also have a unique ability to help our clients translate strategy into actionable technical design and transformation planning/mobilisation. Through our unique combination of competencies and solutions, EY’s DE team helps our clients sustain competitive advantage and profitability by developing strategies to stay ahead of the rapid pace of change and disruption and supporting the execution of complex transformations.

Your key responsibilities

• Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
• Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable code
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality and responsiveness of applications
• Drive the project to achieve the milestone
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues
• Understand existing application architecture and solution design
• Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, programming patterns and solving complex problems
• Experience working with Agile methodology, scrums and stand‑ups
• Demonstrated history of excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Proven track record of designing and delivering large‑scale, high‑quality systems and software products
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Review code and establish best practices

Skills and attributes for success

• Technical attributes: Development experience / C# (Full‑stack Developer)
• React / Angular
• Cloud Development on Azure (Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure APIM, Azure Kubernetes Service)
• Experience working with Azure SDK & CLI
• End‑to‑End API development experience
• Data access services development
• Azure CI/CD, unit test, integration test and mock testing experience
• Hands‑on experience across all phases of SDLC using agile methodologies
• Management attributes: Experience in communicating technical study conclusions through written reports and presentations using tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Visio
• Experience working under agile delivery methodology
• Experience with researching new products / tools and rapid prototyping

Qualifications (To qualify for the role)

BE / BTech / MCA with a sound industry experience of 4 years

• JavaScript / TypeScript / Node.js
• HTML and CSS
• SQL Server
• Azure SQL
• Azure Logic Apps, Functions, APIM, Web Apps, etc.
• Power Platform – Nice to have
