The full-stack developer will join a small team that uses new technology to solve challenges for both the front-end and back-end architecture, ultimately delivering amazing experiences for global users.

Objectives of this role

• Work across the full stack, building highly scalable distributed solutions that enable positive user experiences and measurable business growth.
• Develop new features and infrastructure in support of rapidly emerging business and project requirements.
• Assume leadership of new projects, from conceptualization to deployment.
• Work with agile development methodologies, adhering to best practices and pursuing continued learning opportunities.
• Participate in all aspects of agile software development, including design, implementation, and deployment.
• Develop and maintain scalable and high-performing software solutions using the specified tech stack.
• Architect and provide guidance on building end-to-end systems optimized for speed and scale.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features.
• Ensure code quality through unit and functional testing.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth functionality.
• Engage with inspiring designers and front-end engineers, and collaborate with leading back-end engineers to create reliable software.
• Collaborate across time zones via Slack, GitHub comments, documents, and frequent videoconferences.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices.

Required skills and qualifications

• Experience in the automotive industry and automotive parts standards such as ACES and PIES.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience working in a small team startup environment.
• Experience working on or implementing e-commerce platforms or solutions.
• Familiarity with AWS and cloud computing services.
• Ability to write and maintain clear and concise technical documentation.
• Experience in search technologies such as full-text lexical search and/or semantic vector-based search.
• Strong understanding of Git and experience with CI / CD pipelines.
• Experience with ML, ML embeddings, and generative AI.
• Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Experience with AWS Bedrock.
• Experience in designing and integrating RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Knowledge of Ruby, Python, Javascript (Node.js, React, Typescript, ES6, Cypress), Go, Rust, Elixir.
• Experience processing large datasets and working with Big Data and Analytics.
• Experience working with data processing frameworks and services such as Apache Spark and Airflow.
• Experience with databases such as PostgresQL, ElasticSearch, MongoDB, influxDB, Milvus and Qdrant.
• Experience with Messaging Queues such as RabbitMQ, AWS SQS and Kafka.
• Excellent debugging and optimization skills.
• Experience in unit / integration testing.

Preferred skills and qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in computer science, applied mathematics, or engineering.
• Interest in learning new tools, languages, workflows, and philosophies.
• Professional certification.
