Job summary

Kapsch TrafficCom América Latina in Mexico City is seeking a skilled SW Engineer to design, build, and maintain end-to-end web applications using C#/.NET on the back end and Angular on the front end.

You will collaborate with UX/UI, DevOps, QA, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, accessible, and high-performance software while contributing to CI/CD pipelines and testing strategies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience designing and developing web applications with C#/.NET Core and JavaScript-based technologies.
• Solid front-end development experience, with a strong preference for Angular expertise.
• Hands-on experience with Entity Framework and modern ORM concepts.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server and relational database design.
• Experience working with GitLab and source control best practices.
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools and modern coding techniques.
• Understanding of software quality principles, unit testing methodologies, and BDD.
• Intermediate English proficiency, both written and verbal.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable web application architectures using ASP.NET Core (MVC and Web API) and Angular.
• Develop and maintain back-end services, controllers, and repositories using C#/.NET and Entity Framework Core.
• Build modern, responsive, and reusable Angular components, services, and modules following best practices.
• Integrate and consume RESTful APIs, authentication frameworks (OAuth/OpenID Connect), and WebSockets.
• Optimize application performance across front-end and back-end layers with lazy loading, caching, and profiling.
• Develop and execute unit and integration tests, interfacing with QA for CI/CD delivery.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and maintain coding standards.
• Document APIs, designs, guidelines, and best practices to support knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with UX/UI, DevOps, QA, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, accessible solutions.
