Bluelight Consulting seeks a senior backend-focused software engineer to join our expanding team. You will design and implement high-quality Node.js/TypeScript applications, build low-latency APIs on AWS, and contribute to secure, multi-tenant systems while collaborating with clients across time zones.

You will work across the full stack when needed, emphasize automated testing and CI/CD, and participate in continuous learning in a supportive environment.

Formación

• 5+ years professional software development experience (backend-focused).
• Strong professional experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Experience building low-latency API services in AWS.
• Experience building scalable RESTful APIs.
• Experience with SDK integrations to other services.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB, including Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Experience building secure multi-tenant environments.
• Comfortable writing raw SQL and managing schema migrations (e.g., node-postgres, node-pg-migrate).
• Professional experience with React.
• Strong testing practices, including integration tests against real databases and failure-mode/fault-injection testing.
• Experience working with AI coding assistants as part of daily development.
• CI/CD application creation and maintenance skills.
• Solid understanding of full stack development, with the ability to contribute to frontend work when needed.
• Substantial background working with large, complex systems.
• Ability to overlap US business hours.
• Bachelor's degree required.

• Experience in compliance-sensitive or audit-heavy domains (e.g., fintech, telecom/TCPA compliance)
