KMS Technology Mexico is hiring a Junior DevOps Engineer to help build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, and automate deployments. You’ll work with senior engineers to learn and implement containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes, while documenting processes and improving reliability.

Location: Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico (Hybrid). The role emphasizes growth, security awareness, and hands-on involvement in deployment and monitoring tasks

Formación

• 1–2 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, or related fields.
• Foundational understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Exposure to AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, etc.).
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts (Terraform, CloudFormation) is a plus.
• Good scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar).
• Awareness of monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar).
• Eagerness to learn security best practices for cloud and DevOps environments.
• Strong problem-solving attitude and willingness to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Job Description

We're looking for a skilled and passionate DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in analytical skills to drive strategic initiatives, optimize processes, and ensure we continue to deliver innovative, data-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

As a Junior DevOps Engineer, you will support the team in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating deployments, and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS.

You will work alongside senior engineers and development teams, contributing to day-to-day operations while growing your expertise in GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and AWS. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, has foundational knowledge of DevOps practices, and is ready to take ownership of tasks with guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Coursework, bootcamp, or personal projects demonstrating DevOps interest.
• Understanding of version control (Git) and collaborative workflows.
