LuminaDatamaticsis proactively building a network of seasoned, US based,project managers who haveexpertisein managing K–12 content developmentand full-service productionprojects for academic publishers.If you have a proventrack recordof managingK–12educational projects and are looking to open a door to new opportunities in 2026 and beyond,let'sconnect!

Project managers will play a key role in overseeing and supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of various educational initiatives within the K–12 space,including textbook revisions, new editions, supplements, teacher and student editions, assessment development,and more. Anticipated hours and project details will vary depending on the project, with compensation to bedeterminedon a project-by-project basis.

Responsibilities
  • Manageall contracted service areas foreducational projects, ensuring timelines andobjectivesare met.
  • Manage project documentation and communicate all updates to internal stakeholders and team members, including contractors.
  • Keep all internal project trackers and client tracking systems currenton a daily basis.
  • Prepare materials for internal or external transmittals.
  • Identifyrisks and escalate them tointernalproject lead.
  • Provideregularstatus updates and collaborate withall keystakeholders who include the editorial team, SME authors, permissions, client contacts,etc., to ensure project success.
  • Tasks will vary but may includeassistingsenior staff members and projectleadsin managingcurriculum development,quality assurance checks,resource allocation, andteam coordination, both internally and externally.
Ideal Candidate Attributes
  • Ideallya bachelor’s degree in education, project management, or arelated fieldor relevant experience.
  • Proven experience managing K–12 educational projects, with a proficient knowledge of K–12 content development and production workflows.
  • Ability to craft an effective and efficient workflow plan for both content development and production projects, as well as create andmaintainproject schedules.
  • Ability to manage, organize, and coordinate multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Help tocreate and manage approved budgets,invoicing, and monthly reporting.
  • Strong communication(written and verbal)and leadership skills, with the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Ability to internalize and apply feedback given by senior staff members.
  • Serveasa key client-facing contact alongside senior staff members and/or projectleads.
  • Experience with remote project management and virtual collaboration tools.
  • Authorized to work in the US.
  • Available to work during USEasternstandardbusiness hours.
  • Abilityto meet project deadlines andflexibility toattend virtual meetings as needed.
