A global design platform is seeking a Freelance Content Specialist to support the growth of its Content Library in Mexico. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in copywriting and editing, be proficient in Spanish, and have a detail-oriented approach. Responsibilities include editing templates, overseeing contractor work, and ensuring timely content delivery. This role offers the opportunity to influence product direction and engage in a creative, collaborative environment. Availability for a 6-9 month project is preferred.

We are looking for a talented Freelance Content Specialist to support the growth of Canva’s Content Library for Mexico!
The Content Specialist provides initiative, direction, and support to build the best template library in the world through one of the most crucial aspects of a design: it’s content.
You’ll be working closely with a vibrant and friendly team consisting of a Creative Lead, Copywriters, and Designers in charge of the many template campaigns that the product has to offer.
This is an opportunity to strategise and develop exceptional ideas from the ground up, influence the product’s overall direction, and create fresh, relevant, and usable content for our users.
Canva is on a mission to democratise design through the localisation of our products – and one of the ways we’re doing that is by making sure we have a library full of high‑quality, market‑bespoke contents for all of our key markets.
It’s not enough just to have content that is translated from English, we want to be sure that all users have access to content that reflects the design aesthetics and trends in their market.
