Job summary

Labor Mexicana, SC seeks a Business Unit Director for Industrial Automation & Machine Vision. You will guide both commercial strategy and technical execution, interfacing with OEMs, Tier 1/2 suppliers and plant leadership across Mexico and the US to create profitable, scalable solutions.

The role blends business leadership with hands-on design oversight, including solution architecture, pricing, demonstrations and project governance in real production environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in industrial automation, machine vision, controls, or related advanced manufacturing tech.
• Demonstrated ability to sell complex industrial solutions and open new manufacturing accounts.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering and commissioning teams.
• Ability to communicate credibly with plant engineers and executive decision-makers.
• Willingness to travel regularly across Mexico and the United States.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute the go-to-market strategy for a new business unit.
• Lead commercial proposals, pricing, scope and ROI analyses.
• Direct engineering, integration and commissioning teams on project delivery.
• Develop partnerships with OEMs, suppliers and industrial associations.
• Ensure profitable project margins and scalable, repeatable solutions.
