Gestamp Automoción S.A. in Mexico seeks a logistics maintenance technician to keep the shipping areas, racks and equipment in optimal condition.

You will follow repair plans and preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance to support production lines and on-time deliveries. Responsibilities include loading materials for client shipments using FIFO and labeling, managing forklifts and other mobile equipment, inspecting and reporting damaged assets, and performing daily forklift safety checks

Formación

• High School Certificate or technical high school diploma, or equivalent.
• Experience in the automotive industry is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Load the material for shipment to the client, as well as the supply to the production lines based on FIFO, scanning and labeling of material.
• Management of mobile equipment, forklift, tugger or Jenny, depending on the activity to be carried out.
• Unload and load empty equipment, and inspect for damage, report to Supervisor.
• Visually inspect all domestic transports when unloading empty containers and report any transport damage.
• Perform a visual safety and maintenance inspection of the assigned forklift and complete the forklift inspection checklist daily.
• Comply with security requirements and use your security equipment at all times.
• Ensure that the shipping process is carried out according to company regulations in a timely manner.
• Perform planned maintenance on auxiliary logistics equipment, such as racks, shelving, etc.

Key Responsibilities
