As a Foreign Trade Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate recordkeeping to identify the actual costs of each export operation versus the amounts invoiced to each client, guaranteeing that the company achieves profitability in every transaction. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with customs legislation by organizing physical and electronic files to mitigate tax risks for the organizations involved, based on the SAT's audit findings (glosas).

This position reports to Import and Export Administration Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create the physical and electronic records for the aforementioned organizations covering the past five years, in accordance with the program.
  • Submission of documentation to Customs Brokers to ensure compliance with the physical records mandated by the authorities.
  • Coordinate with Customs Brokers the submission of any outstanding documentation to ensure completion of the records in accordance with Article 36 of the LA.
  • Record in the Foreign Trade department's database, stored on the company's shared server, all relevant data to facilitate the preparation of biweekly and monthly reports by the Foreign Trade management, with the objective of supporting decision-making and fostering continuous improvement within the department.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree, Foreign Trade and International Relations, with experience as Administrator and Certified Public Accountant.
  • Intermediate level of English.
  • Two years of professional experience in International Trade.
