Flowserve is seeking a Financial Analyst to analyze financial data and support business decisions. The role focuses on cost analysis, backlog reporting, and monthly reconciliations under US GAAP and local GAAP, with SOX compliance responsibilities.

A BS/BA and 3–5 years of relevant experience are required, along with strong Excel skills and ERP knowledge (Oracle/SAP). The successful candidate will work in a manufacturing environment, leveraging Access tools and advanced Excel to provide accurate

• Extensive Excel 2010 knowledge including pivot tables and lookups.
• Knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP and SOX regulations.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP and consolidated reporting.
• Manufacturing industry experience is highly desirable.
• MS Access knowledge is valuable.
• BS or BA degree and 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Access is valuable.

Role Summary:

The Financial Analyst examines financial data and uses their findings to help the company to make business decisions. More specifically, the Financial Analysts research macroeconomic and microeconomic conditions along with company fundamentals to make predictions about businesses, sectors, and industries.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Cost Analysis and Reporting: review and analysis of project costing, gross margin analysis, direct charges, inventory evaluation.

• Bookings and Backlog: review and report proper net Backlog values on a monthly basis.

• Monthly reconciliations: balance sheet and P&L in accordance to US GAAP and local GAAP.

• Sox and Audit: maintain Sox compliance with Group Accounting Policies, Statutory Accounting Principles and Legal/Fiscal local regulations.

• Statutory Accounts: support for the Annual Financial Statement preparation

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Extensive Excel 2010 knowledge including advanced functions with Excel required (Pivot tables, Vlook ups, etc)

• Working knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP and SOX regulations

• Experience with structured ERP, Oracle or SAP and consolidated reporting systems.

• Experience in manufacturing industry is highly desirable

• Knowledge of Microsoft Access is valuable

• BS or BA Degree in relevant field and 3-5 years relevant experience
