A leading actuarial firm in Mexico is seeking an experienced Actuarial Analyst to develop financial projections and conduct cost-benefit analyses. This role involves performing technical reviews and ensuring service reliability according to quality standards. Candidates should have a degree in Finance or Mathematics and 4+ years of experience in the insurance or financial sector, alongside strong analytical and mathematical skills. The ideal candidate will communicate effectively in English and demonstrate innovation in service delivery.

Formación

  • 4+ years of experience in insurance or financial industry.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (B2 business level).

Actuarial analysts develop financial projections, cost-benefit analysis, and insurance plan validation using statistical, modeling, and risk management strategies. The position is part of NA FAA (North America Financial Actuarial Analysis) team, which provides risk assessment to companies located in the United States of America.

The role:
  • Perform technical reviews by doing and reviewing mathematical models and/or actuarial analysis (such as Doer / Technical Reviewer)
  • Ensure that the service is reliable in accordance with Quality standards, serving as a Peer / Secondary Technical Reviewer, reviewing each case in a concise manner
  • Demonstrate understanding of the FAA service catalogue and knowledge in all aspects of employee benefit plan design, underwriting/ financial concepts and H&B tools
  • Assertive stakeholder interaction
  • Communication and close collaboration with international teams
  • Secure simultaneous deliverables
  • Exceptional quality service delivery within the agreed time per service (SLA/Target Date)
  • Actively and efficiently collaborate on assigned projects
  • Contributing consolidated ideas for focused improvements

  • Lead or support strategic projects across the region, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
  • Act as full-analyst support, providing comprehensive assistance across assigned services and clients.
