Overview

Finance Continuous Improvement and IT Enablement Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Continuous Improvement and IT Enablement Lead to drive process excellence and digital transformation across our Finance Shared Services Center (SSC) operations in the Americas. This role will be instrumental in modernizing and automating finance processes (P2P, O2C, R2R), improving data governance, and enabling the SSC to scale effectively through technology. The successful candidate will serve as a bridge between Finance and IT, leading enterprise-level initiatives focused on automation, analytics, ERP optimization, and business intelligence – while embedding a culture of continuous improvement across the Shared Services Center.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

  • Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement
  • Lead Lean/Six Sigma initiatives to streamline end-to-end finance processes including Order to Cash (O2C), Procure to Pay (P2P), and Record to Report (R2R).
  • Identify and implement process improvements that reduce manual work, eliminate inefficiencies, and enhance quality.
  • Establish and promote a continuous improvement culture across teams using proven methodologies and change management principles.
  • Technology Enablement & Automation
  • Design and deploy automation tools and scripts (e.g., Excel Macros, RPA, Power BI) to reduce manual intervention and error rates.
  • Drive implementation of emerging technologies (e.g., Robotic Process Automation, AI-driven analytics) that improve SSC performance and reporting capabilities.
  • Serve as the liaison between Finance and IT to ensure digital solutions align with business and regulatory requirements.
  • Data Governance & Reporting
  • Implement and maintain finance data governance frameworks to enhance accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
  • Develop data integration strategies to consolidate financial data across multiple systems (e.g., ERP, business intelligence tools).
  • Lead the design of dashboards and real-time reporting tools to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Project Management & Change Leadership
  • Lead finance technology projects on behalf of the SSC, including upgrades, compliance rollouts (e.g., e-invoicing), and process migrations, while working closely with Head of SSC, Tower Leaders and SSC Transformation lead.
  • Oversee successful execution of digital transformation projects from scoping through post-implementation support.
  • Communicate project status and value delivery to stakeholders at all levels across SSC and local business units.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems Engineering, Finance Information Systems or related.
  • 10+ years of experience in finance transformation, shared services, continuous improvement, or IT enablement roles.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., JD Edwards, SAP, Oracle) and business intelligence tools (Power BI, SAP BO, etc).
  • Demonstrated success in deploying automation and analytics to streamline finance operations.
  • Experience managing transitions to electronic invoicing and compliance with regional regulations (e.g., CFDI in Mexico).
  • Certified in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher preferred).
  • Strong project management skills with ability to manage cross-functional teams and regional initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and change management capabilities.
  • Advanced English proficiency
  • Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed, and multicultural environment.
