John Crane Mexico is seeking a Field Technical Support Engineer to provide technical advisory services and support to client operations across the process industries.

You will monitor equipment under service contracts, analyze performance, and deliver training to maintenance staff while coordinating with supply chain. A mechanical/industrial engineering background and fluency in Spanish are required.

Formación

• Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience with rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines).
• At least 1 year in field technical support or similar role.
• Knowledge of mechanical seals.
• Strong listening to customer needs; analytical and methodical.
• Proficient in English; fluent Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor rotating equipment under service contracts.
• Keep databases, reports, and logs up to date.
• Measure equipment performance indicators and generate client reports.
• Perform failure analysis on mechanical seals and advise on changes.
• Deliver training to client maintenance teams.
• Manage client accounts: inventory, MTBF, and deliveries.
• Coordinate orders through the supply chain.
• Provide technical advisory services on request.
• Comply with health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Handle preventive maintenance tools.
