What will you work on

The Spin Master Field Sales Manager will be a key contributor to Spin Master Mexico and the global Sales Team. The Field Sales Manager will lead planning, execution, and measurement of strategic commercial activities. The role will lead a team of sales merchandizers to execute sales strategies, meet annual KPIs, and manage key customer relationships in the retail channel. Also, the manager will interact with multiple levels of internal and external stakeholders to develop a compelling POS strategy and execute tactics to support business objectives and the overall Commercial Strategy.

How will you create impact
  • Key responsibilities include creating business unit plans, ensuring perfect store execution (distribution shelving promotions), analyzing sales data to find growth opportunities, and collaborating with internal teams such as category activation and finance.
  • Responsible for achieving sales targets and implementing brand strategies across territory by managing customer relationships, analyzing data, and collaborating with internal teams.
  • Working closely with internal teams such as Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, and Planning.
  • Managing the sell‑in of products and coordinating key promotions and new product introductions.
  • Implement and monitor sales strategies, ensuring perfect store execution by optimizing product distribution, shelving, and promotional activities.
  • Negotiate and maintain relationships with key accounts, distributors, wholesalers, and retailers while providing them with resources, support, and incentives.
  • Use in‑depth knowledge of the category and market trends to coach the team, influence customers, and make informed decisions that drive growth.
  • Primary ownership of the Spin Master brands in‑store looks and feel in the Mexican market.
  • Aim to maximize the ROI of commercial resources to reinforce brand awareness and preference in México.
  • Collaborate with Brand Managers and Trade Marketing to build experiential activities, promotions, and product communication. Collaborate or ideation, planning & budgeting, production, and implementation of all in‑store activities including point of sales materials and promotions.
  • Support product launch activities in all channels to drive sell‑through and increase market share and product positioning.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute expos and retail annual events.
  • Ensure that the feedback from our promoters or store sales is considered by regularly syncing up with our sales team, visiting customers and stores to identify, develop, and activate appropriate in‑store activity plans.
  • Define innovative and winning POS strategy and execute compelling in‑store programs (based on customer insights), coordinating Marketing activities.
  • Create competitive intelligence regarding in‑store performance and promotions and ensure continuous exchange with sales team. Identify benchmark in toy industry and other related businesses.
  • Ensure proper forecasting and order management for in‑store materials. Cooperate with Supply Chain to maintain accurate and appropriate inventory levels of all marketing materials.

  • A strong drive for results and the ability to meet challenging sales objectives.
  • Excellent organization and project management skills, outstanding written and oral (both English and Spanish) communication skills, ability to manage multiple and changing priorities and adhere to deadlines.
What are your skills and experience
  • Relevant experience in trade marketing position with proven success at developing and executing POS strategies in the toy industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the retail environment (modern and traditional trade).
  • Its essential to have strong knowledge of the market, industry competitors, and customers.
  • Must have broad experience and understanding of all facets of the commercial discipline including trade marketing, promotions, budget control, sales, and distribution. Four‑year degree in a related field required; MBA highly desirable.
