A leading industrial equipment manufacturer is seeking a Field Sales Engineer in San Luis Potosí. This role involves driving sales for Mechanical Power Transmission products and fostering relationships with channel partners and customers. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Effective communication skills in English and a background in power transmission are essential. A collaborative work environment with opportunities for growth is offered.

Job Summary: You will be accountable for sales of Mechanical Power Transmission products within the Bajio area of Mexico, driving sales volumes according to Company’s plans. Reporting to the Dodge Mexico Sales Manager, you will be responsible for growing the Dodge business, maintaining important relationships with our channel partners, end users and OEMs and providing critical feedback to Sales and Product Management on all issues that affect the ability to grow Dodge market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Working with marketing and other departments to prepare sales plans and bids, ensuring technical and financial accuracy.
  • Working with the wider sales team to identify and develop new market opportunities.
  • Using your knowledge of customers’ needs and Dodge’s solutions to determine effective solutions for customers.
  • Monitoring customer and market trends along with the marketing team to develop effective marketing activities.
  • Up to 40%-50% travel might be required.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering and minimum 2 years of experience working in the power transmission field.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to listen, understand, educate, and influence customers/potential customers regarding products.
  • English communication skills, both writing and speaking.
  • Dodge product application knowledge with the ability to recommend suitable products to customers and to differentiate products from those of the competition.
  • Capable of appraising commercial business situations, both internal and external, and determining course of action.
  • Trained in selling mechanical power transmission products in industrial applications.
