Sanmina Corporation in Mexico is seeking a Failure Analysis Engineer 1 to support electronics repair processes, RF and optical networks, and quality initiatives. You will analyze capacity, lead technicians, and participate in Kaizen and improvement projects while coordinating with customers on technical issues.

The role requires electronics background, English proficiency, and hands-on experience with diagnostic equipment and measuring tools.

Formación

• Electronic Engineering or Mechatronics or related field.
• English 85% (reading/conference participation).
• Good knowledge of electronics processes, RF, optical networks and quality.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and participate in NPI and capacity analysis.
• Prepare FAR and case documentation.
• Coordinate with technicians and customers on technical issues.
• Support diagnostic technicians and engage in improvement projects such as Kaizen/6Sigma.

Failure Analysis Engineer 1

Education

Electronic Engineering, Mecatronics or related field

English 85%

Electronics processes, Radio Frequency, Optical Networks and quality knowledge.

Experience in Electronic repair processes, telecommunications projects.

Basic understanding of English to read and understand the technical documentation provided and participate in conferences. (English 70% as minimum). Balance and capacity analysis, Knowledge in optical fibers, solderability process, medium or high level of excel or google sheet, necessary knowledge in handling of measuring equipment, (Multimeter, Oscilloscope, LCR, Spectrum Analyzer), fault definition method.

• Leader, proactive, work under pressure, team work, high level of analysis, schedule availability.
• Project leader, participate on NPI, capacity analysis, supervisor of technicians, participate on CIT´s meeting, participate on improvement projects (Kaizen, 6sigma), contact to the customer for technical issues, critical debug of high aging units, debug of highly complex products or critics for their low yield, daily internal communication to the work groups, generation of FAR for case documentation, support for diagnostic technicians.
