Sensata Technologies is seeking a Failure Analysis Engineer in Mexico. You will identify failure modes, test and diagnose products, and write reports with conclusions and recommendations. You will work across teams to analyze electrical and mechanical characteristics and drive corrective actions.

Responsibilities include evaluating failures, maintaining SLA adherence, and updating process documentation. A Bachelor's degree is required, and strong communication, organization, and collaboration

Formación

• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.

Responsabilidades

• Participates in the evaluation of the electrical and mechanical characteristics of systems and/or ICs, components, sub-components and systems to determine the cause of failure, including verification of analog and digital performance.
• Assists with analyzing failure reports and recommends corrective action. Develops methods, processes, procedures and equipment that will improve the failure analysis process and/or reduce failures.
• Participates in product returns and conducts product failure analysis.
• Meets and exceeds internal and external Service Level Agreements.
• Maintains daily productivity/workflow reports. Maintains, reviews and updates process documentation on a regular basis.
• Participates in reviewing current processes and implements new processes as required.
• Ability to read blueprints, specifications and engineering changes.
• Ability to interact with employees at all levels.

The Failure Analysis Engineer is responsible for identifying the failure mode of warranties, testing and diagnosing products, monitoring product behavior, writing and sharing reports, drawing conclusions on occurred failures and making recommendations.

General Responsibilities

• Participates in the evaluation of the electrical and mechanical characteristics of systems and/or integrated circuits, components, sub-components and systems to determine the cause of failure, including the verification of analog and digital performance
• Assists with analyzing failure reports and recommends corrective action. Develops methods, processes, procedures and equipment that will improve the failure analysis process and/or reduce failures
• Participates in product returns and Conduct product failure analysis
• Meet and exceed internal and external Service Level Agreements
