Job summary

Flex is seeking a Facilities Technician - Installations in Aguascalientes to support electromechanical infrastructure and ensure safe, continuous operations.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on medium- and low-voltage systems, inspect substations and switchgear, and execute electrical switching with strict adherence to LOTO and NFPA 70E standards. A technical degree and 3+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in Industrial Electricity, Electromechanics, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in industrial electromechanical installations.
• Experience with medium-voltage systems (13.2 kV+).
• Familiar with substations, transformers and switchgear.
• Ability to read single-line diagrams and blueprints.
• Knowledge of NOM and NFPA 70E safety standards.
• Experience with backup power systems (UPS/generators).
• Ability to respond to emergencies outside of normal hours.
• Electrical safety certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on medium- and low-voltage systems.

• Maintain grounding systems and install conduits/cable trays.

Job Summary

Job summary: To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Facilities Technician - Installations located in Aguascalientes.

Reporting to the Facilities Engineer, Carry out maintenance, operation, and installation activities for electromechanical infrastructure associated with medium- and low-voltage electrical systems, ensuring the safety and continuity of operations.

What a typical day looks like:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on medium- and low-voltage electrical systems.
• Operate electrical substations and associated equipment.
• Inspect transformers, power circuit breakers, and medium-voltage switchgear.
• Execute authorized electrical switching operations for energizing and de-energizing.
• Perform maintenance on grounding systems.
• Install and maintain conduits, cable trays, and electrical wiring.
• Conduct electrical tests and measure operating parameters.
• Assist with electrical infrastructure expansions and modifications.
• Carry out activities in accordance with LOTO procedures.
• Participate in electrical fault analysis.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Generate technical reports and documentation of work performed.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• Technical degree in Industrial Electricity, Electromechanics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial electromechanical installations.
• Proven experience with medium-voltage systems (13.2 kV or higher).
• Knowledge of substations, transformers, and electrical switchgear.
• Ability to interpret single-line diagrams and electromechanical blueprints.
• Proficiency in using electrical testing and measurement equipment.
• Knowledge of NOM and NFPA 70E standards and electrical safety best practices.
• Experience with backup power systems (UPS and emergency generators).
• Knowledge of grounding systems and lightning protection.
• Availability to respond to emergencies outside of regular working hours.
• Certification in electrical safety or medium-voltage work is desirable.
