ARSAN International Consulting Group seeks an experienced Facilities Supervisor to oversee Monterrey Plant operations, lead technicians, manage projects, and ensure safety and quality compliance. You will work with cross-functional teams and suppliers, reporting to the Maintenance Manager, to advance departmental goals and continuous improvement.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, at least five years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, and strong communication,

Responsabilidades

  • Safety: ensure personnel safety and adherence to safety rules.
  • Project management: organize suppliers, people, and resources to complete projects on time and within budget.
  • Procurement: prepare RFQs and RFPs for services, systems, and equipment.
  • Capital goods: justify capital investments and track delivery with suppliers.
  • KPIs: establish and report on plant and facility KPIs.
  • Training and development: train technicians to meet safety, production, and quality standards.
  • Recognition: acknowledge team achievements and culture of success.
  • Communication: maintain open communication with staff and stakeholders.
  • Critical facility systems: ensure HVAC, electricity, fire safety, and other systems operate reliably.
  • Support equipment: keep cranes, hoists, doors, docks, and smoke systems compliant.
  • Performance reviews: conduct annual team reviews and set objectives.
  • Accident investigations: prepare detailed reports for all accidents.
  • LEAN: promote lean principles and continuous improvement activities.
  • Sustainability: minimize environmental impact and waste, maximize recycling, reduce energy use.
  • Innovation: contribute ideas to improve processes and translate ideas into business opportunities.

As a Facilities Supervisor at Monterrey Plant, a leading metal mechanical manufacturing company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and functionality of the manufacturing plant facilities, fixed assets, systems, offices, and exteriors. Your primary responsibilities include supervising a team of technicians, managing projects, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. You will also collaborate with various stakeholders, including suppliers and cross‑functional teams, and report to the Maintenance Manager, to support the achievement of departmental goals and objectives.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a Facilities Supervisorworking in a manufacturing company.
  • Demonstrated supervisory and management skills, including leadership, delegation, and follow‑up.
  • Strong organizational skills, including prioritization, resource allocation, and the ability to align actions with the company's strategy.
  • Ability to guide and train technicians, adapting coaching style to individual needs.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills, with the ability to document processes and communicate clearly with various stakeholders.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills, including the use of root cause analysis methodologies.
  • Proficiency in using company software tools, databases, cloud‑based applications, and Microsoft Office products.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with appropriate procedures, policies, and instructions for factory maintenance, as well as internal processes and the Code of Conduct
Key Responsibilities:
  • Safety: Ensure the safety of personnel and team members, promoting adherence to safety rules and the use of appropriate safety equipment.
  • Project Management: Organize suppliers, people, and resources to manage projects within budget and on time, while following company policies.
  • Procurement: Prepare RFQs and RFPs for the acquisition of services, systems, and plant equipment, in accordance with company processes and policies.
  • Capital Goods: Justify capital goods and project plans, and follow up with suppliers until completion and delivery.
  • KPIs: Establish and report metrics that support plant and facility Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Training and Development: Take responsibility for the training and development of technicians to ensure they meet the company's safety, production, and quality standards.
  • Recognition: Recognize and reward team achievements and celebrate both team and organizational success.
  • Communication: Promote open and clear communication with department employees and other stakeholders related to their responsibilities.
  • Critical Facility Systems: Ensure that critical facility systems, including fire suppression, security, HVAC, electricity, compressed air, and more, are fully operational.
  • Support Equipment: Ensure critical support equipment such as cranes, hoists, rolling doors, docks, and smoke collection systems are operational and maintain compliance with relevant standards.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct annual reviews for the team and establish annual, quarterly, and monthly objectives.
  • Accident Investigations: Conduct detailed accident investigation reports for all accidents.
  • LEAN Principles: Promote LEAN principles and implement tools for continuous improvement, participating in continuous improvement reviews and corrective and preventative actions for the quality system.
  • Sustainability: Ensure that individual activities embrace sustainability, minimize environmental impact, and waste, and maximize recycling while minimizing energy and water use.
  • Innovation: Support a culture of innovation by contributing original thinking to improve processes, methods, systems, or services, translating new ideas into business opportunities.
Nature and Scope:

The Facilities Supervisor reports to the Maintenance Manager and is part of the department's leadership team, sharing responsibility for the department's goals and objectives. This position involves leading a team of technicians and may include participation in cross‑functional and regional teams.
