PwC Acceleration Center Mexico is seeking an Experienced Associate IICE to support indirect tax, VAT compliance, and planning for a diverse client portfolio. You will learn while contributing to client engagements, applying tax regulations, and leveraging technology tools as part of a dynamic Tax team.

As you grow, you will navigate VAT, GST, and sales tax contexts, collaborate with colleagues, and build your professional brand through exposure to international taxation projects and tax modeling

Formación

• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
• Experience with VAT, GST, or indirect tax planning beneficial.

As an Experienced Associate IICE, you will play a pivotal role in providing advice and guidance to clients on indirect tax planning, compliance, and strategy. Your work will involve navigating complex indirect tax regulations, including value-added tax (VAT), goods and services tax (GST), and sales tax, to help businesses optimize their tax positions. As an Associate, you will focus on learning and contributing to client engagements while developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. You will be exposed to clients to learn how to build meaningful connections, manage and inspire others, and grow your personal brand by deepening your technical knowledge of firm services and technology resources. Within our Tax practice, you will be part of a dynamic team that supports clients in navigating the complexities of indirect tax regulations. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Mexico, you will engage in research, participate in project tasks, and develop basic skills and knowledge. You will use a broad range of tools, methodologies, and techniques to generate new ideas and solve problems, while interpreting data to inform insights and recommendations. Responsibilities

• Assisting clients in navigating complex indirect tax regulations, including value-added tax (VAT), goods and services tax (GST), and sales tax
• Providing guidance on indirect tax planning, compliance, and strategy to optimize client tax positions
• Conducting research and analysis on indirect tax issues to support client engagements
• Collaborating with team members to deliver comprehensive tax services and solutions
• Preparing and reviewing VAT returns and other indirect tax documentation
• Engaging in tax dispute resolution and indirect tax controversies
• Utilizing tax technology tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy in tax preparation and reporting
• Supporting customs brokerage and valuation processes to align with regulatory requirements
• Participating in the development of tax models and documentation to address client needs
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of tax processes and methodologies
