Motherson in Torreón, Coahuila is looking for an Expeditor responsible for ensuring the business has necessary supplies and inventory. Duties include contacting vendors, verifying supplies, and managing requisitions to ensure compliance with regulations.

The ideal candidate should have an Administration or Engineering degree and 1 year of relevant experience, preferably in the automotive business. Benefits include competitive offerings and a commitment to equal opportunity.

Formación

  • 1 year of experience in automotive business desirable, in areas related to Manufacturing, Materials, Planning, Logistics and/or Purchasing.

Responsabilidades

  • Contact vendors, place orders, and manage supply requisition.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and company requirements.
  • Follow up on late orders and confirm pending deliveries.
  • Negotiate with suppliers regarding orders.
  • Contribute to the effectiveness of the Energy, Environment, Health and Safety Management System.

Expeditor - TTC

Objective:

Responsible for ensuring business has the supplies and inventory it needs to function. Their duties include communicating with suppliers about the status of supplies, problem‑solving to reduce the impact of late shipments and submitting purchase orders to vendors.

Responsibilities
  • Contact vendors, place orders, verify supplies, manage supply requisition and communicate with suppliers to determine expected delivery dates and inform to final users
  • As required, check work quality against company requirements and specifications and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Ensure that materials shipped and received are verified against pertinent documentation
  • Responsible for the timely processing of expedited deliveries
  • Follow up on late orders and confirm pending deliveries on open orders
  • Shipments Analysis and Control per supplier.
  • Negotiate with supplier’s order cancellation
  • Identifying and implementing cost savings initiatives
  • Supplier delivery performance issues to suppliers and internal customers
  • Quote with suppliers, as requested
  • RMA Process follow up, as requested
  • Review and coordinate data with A/P and Materials Receiving associates for missing payments.
  • Comply with and ensure compliance with PKC Group's Environment, Health and Safety Policy and Energy Policy.
  • Comply with the environmental, health, safety and energy requirements set forth in Federal, State and Municipal legislation and applicable regulations related to our activities and products to comply with the EMASS (Energy, Environment, Health and Safety) procedures inherent to their work position.
  • Contribute to the effectiveness of the Energy, Environment, Health and Safety Management System, including the achievement of the EMASS Objectives and Goals.
Required Profile
Education and Experience
  • Administration or Engineer degree
  • 1 year of experience, automotive business desirable, in areas related to Manufacturing, Materials, Planning, Logistics and/or Purchasing
